What is the IP Value? What do the IP Values on the product mean?

IP STANDARDS, developed by the European Electrotechnical Standards Committee (CENELEC), include figures showing under which conditions electrically powered products can work safely. The products are tested by the manufacturer in the light of these standards and the user is informed on the product. The first digit of the number indicates its resistance to solid objects, and the second digit indicates its resistance to liquid objects.

For example, if you are in an area where you are exposed to the highly corrosive effects of the environment, you must have a fuse box that is not affected by environmental factors such as humidity, dust, and rain. Therefore, you should pay attention to the protection standards of the product you will buy.
